Oliver graduated with an MChem in Chemistry from the University of York in 2024. He specialised during his master's year in the study of DNA hairpins with ultra-fast 2DIR spectroscopy. He joined Artemis in September 2024, where he works on the 1 KHz XUV beamline and AMO end station to facilitate gas phase ultra-fast spectroscopy and imaging experiments.​
