Christmas just isn't the same without the High Power Laser (HPL) Christmas Conference! This was the first fully in-person HPL conference we’ve had in a while, and it was great to see so many familiar and new faces.
As in previous years, Abingdon School hosted the meeting, with dinners being held at the Cosener's House. Around 115 external delegates registered for the meeting, which saw about 50 talks, and two poster sessions.

As usual the topics ranged from target fabrication, ICF, and particle acceleration through to QED and laboratory astrophysics. Student poster prizes were awarded to students from both York and STFC this year.
