Look out for job opportunities coming soon!
Lasers can be used to replicate the incredible conditions only naturally found in space, such as tremendous magnetic fields and the centres of stars. By using our high-powered lasers we can help to develop a greater understanding of the extreme world around us.

One of the many examples of recent, exciting experiments was in developing micro-sized, turbo charged X-ray beams that can see through steel. Harnessing this technique could allow us to safely examine potential hazards such as old nuclear waste barrels.

Our Engineering jobs offer exciting opportunities to work hand in hand with scientists and fellow engineers to deliver the best engineering first class, to push the frontiers of human understanding, and to develop the next generation of lasers.

Benefits of working with us

  • Flexible working.
  • 30 days of annual leave per year.
  • Travel opportunities for experiments, conferences, workshops and training.
  • Flexible maternity and paternity leave, with the additional option of part-time work.
  • Nursery facilities on-site.
  • Delivering the best engineering first class.
