Research interests
Dr Thompson joined the Artemis team at the start of 2023. James’ expertise is in gas-phase, time-resolved spectroscopy and dynamics experiments, particularly using photoelectron imaging. His current research focus is on photoionisation dynamics and photochemical reaction dynamics of i) biologically relevant species and ii) metal-containing model catalysts
