Division Head - Lasers for Science
Research Interests
Development of imaging and spectroscopy techniques and their application to biological questions. Cellular and structural biology, including cell signalling, protein folding, and biomaterials.
Background
PhD. University of Keele. “Structural Studies on the Assembly of Clathrin Coat Protein”.
Dave joined the LSF in 2008 after a number of years at the Synchrotron Radiation Source, Daresbury Laboratory, where he was responsible for the construction and operation of the circular dichroism beamline CD12. His career has been focussed on the development of instrumentation and techniques for the study of biological systems using laser and synchrotron radiation.
