Dr. Bruce Weaver joined the Artemis team in June 2024. His research interests include ultrafast electron microscopy and diffraction, high harmonic generation, and ultrafast optics.
Bruce holds a PhD in Physics from Imperial College London. His thesis focussed on the generation of attosecond extreme ultraviolet laser pulses using multi-colour synthesized laser fields.
Prior to joining Artemis, he was a scientist in the Laboratory of Ultrafast Microscopy and Electron Scattering at the Swiss Federal Institute of the Technology Lausanne (EPFL), where he held a FP-RESOMUS Postdoctoral Fellowship. There he worked on new techniques involving ultrafast electron microscopy, ultrafast electron diffraction and electron interactions involving microphotonic resonators.”
